When HARRY PERRY III was seven years old, his mother re-married and in his wise and mature opinion, the world was coming to an end. There was no way he could ever see this person as the generous, kind and patient man that his mother promised he was. At the wedding, despite looking cute in his navy jacket and red tie with a bushy head of hair he didn’t know he would one day lose, he was determined to not have a good time. And he was succeeding until his new stepdad handed him a VHS camcorder (thick strap and all) and invited him to see the night in a different way. Staring into the eyepiece, the light blue color of the monitor gently illuminating his face, he indeed saw the world a whole new way. He not only saw what the lens of a camera could do, he saw what it could reveal. Honest emotion and the truth that his mother was right. Generous, kind and patient, his stepdad opened a door that could never be shut and set a seven-year-old on a path to exploring the world through storytelling. Thank God the cameras have gotten better though.
Since then Harry’s tenacity convinced the Producer of "ER" to grant him an internship and ultimately a job giving him first hand, on-set exposure to making a #1 television show and his time as an Associate Producer on multiple Nickelodeon series allowed him access to the entire post production process with wonderful Showrunners who entrusted him with their shows. All skills he still applies to his projects today. He's currently directing for Soapbox Films, a creative content company that specializes in targeted marketing for feature film studios. His projects have aired on Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC, Freeform, ESPN, FX, Nickelodeon, Fox, HGTV, AMC Theaters and many others along with more than 88 million views online.
He revels in working with passionate artists, designers and technicians to craft compelling stories in new and interesting ways.
